When The Olympic Channel launched they were looking for exciting, unique and fun original series to entertain between live sports broadcasts. We pitched and sold a reality competition series featuring Olympic athletes, some fresh off of winning medals in Rio, and we paired them with 8 of the most popular sports influencers on social media.. They faced off in fun, Olympic inspired events that we called the “Global Games”
My responsibilities were to develop, write and produce the series on a tight $500,000 production budget, filmed on location in Greece. I created all the games and worked with a crew in Greece to execute in pre-production. I then led the production on set with the Greek crew and drove post-production back in New York City.
